Feeling stuck on reaching diverse populations with your programs? Trying to get more folks from your team on board with updating policies? This webinar is for you! On April 23rd, OUT Maine and The Onion Foundation will host “Building Inclusive Organizations: The Basics,” a 101-level public webinar meant to introduce organizations and individuals to the fundamentals of running inclusive programs. We’ll be making the case for why such work is urgent and deeply needed in Maine.

This webinar is part of a comprehensive slate of training opportunities offered in partnership between OUT Maine and the Onion Foundation in 2026 to support Maine’s nonprofits in developing LGBTQIA2S+ programming, policies, and spaces.

Registration is free and open to ALL Nonprofit organizations.

About this webinar:

Nonprofits do amazing work supporting their communities and increasing access to the arts and environment for Mainers. In recognition of the unique role nonprofits can play in their communities as trusted third spaces, and in light of increasing hostility aimed at LGBTQIA2S+ identities and support systems nationwide, the Onion Foundation and OUT Maine are partnering for a third year to offer a range of training options, designed to help Maine’s nonprofits serve queer community members with the support of an aligned network of peers.
